Nowadays many people around the world want to immigrate to other countries for good job opportunities. Sweden is one of the favorable employment hubs for the skilled workers of the different region. The citizen of European nations and Europe economic area don’t need the work permit to work in Sweden whereas the citizens of Non-European countries must need a work permit for this concern. There are also some deviations in the rule that the citizen of Australia, new Zealand , Canada and south Korea can able to work in Sweden by the help of working holiday visa but the candidates should be in the age group of 18 to 30. The citizen of Non-European countries should receive an offer of employment from the Swedish employer in order to get the work permit for Sweden. There are several criteria for granting the work-permit for this country. First of all the employment news should be classified on EURES portal at least for 10 days. The offer of employment should follow the rules and regulations of Swedish collective agreements. Then the employer of the candidate has to submit the application to the relevant union for the processing the application of the candidate. The applicant should have a threshold monthly salary of SEK 13,000 according to the norms of collective agreements of Sweden to obtaining this status. The candidate must have a valid travel document or passport for getting the work-permit. After the approval of work permit, the candidate can take his spouse or common-law partner and his children under the age of 21 to Sweden. The children above the age 21 can migrate with the candidate if he/she is financially dependent to the candidate. The spouse and the children of the candidate can also apply for the residence permit either on the part of that same application or separately.
